Took my hubby to ER due to a fall he had resulting in a head injury. From the check in Staff, the Eval nurse, the treating nurse, and Dr Goebel, they were all top notch. We were there quite a few hours but is to be expected with the amount of patients they have to triage. I was very impressed by Dr Goebels caring nature, his wisdom, his patience and the communication. Dr Goebel pretty much saved my husbands life. 5 stars to all the staff we dealt with that night. Radiology, CT, and MRI GROUP. Nothing short of outstanding. Thank you Unity Point.

My father in-law was admitted into the ICU and in there for a week, which was a traumatic experience for the whole family. A special thank you to Chaplin Kit for reaching out to us from Iowa to Colorado to let us know what had happened. We drove overnight to get there by morning and the ICU team and the Chaplin were in constant contact. On behalf of our whole family we want to express our deepest heartfelt thank you for the incredible care he was given. I know it's a team effort and we have a special shout out of appreciation to Kristi in the ICU who played an extremely critical role for us getting him home. Thanks again for the extended team effort.

On October 30th, 2020, I went in for induction for my pregnancy. I progressed quite well and time mannerly. I was at 8cm around noon to 1pm, I asked for epidural. I received it after two hours lol. But, unfortunately my son wasn’t able to come out. The staff was wonderful and was keeping me in the loop as my mother in law was too. They were mainly encouraging for vaginal delivery. They didnt want me to do C Section but eventually, it was medically determined by my doctor and thankfully, I was taken in for Emergency C Section. The surgeon, Dr. Burger (I think if I spelled it correctly) did wonderful and cut me open as soon I was under anesthesia. He got my son out and safe. Postpartum nurses were amazing and I recommend the Labor and Delivery Services. Dr. Dannerbring is also amazing, she is somewhat associated with St. Lukes. She is mostly at Dakota Dunes Clinic. Kiddo is now two years old and thriving.

At this time my entire family and I are so blessed to have the incredible care and compassion provided by the Doctors and nursing staff in the Intensive Care Unit. The whole staff has shown that it's not just their job, but it's their pleasure to accommodate our ailing loved one, to make sure it is as comfortable and respectful as possible to aid our loved one through this difficult process. I won't hesitate to pronounce the morning staff of Jasmine, Renae, and Gracey completely and utterly provided Supreme composure and compassion to help all inflicted in this difficult time. I personally will forever greatful for being nothing more than good humans in a time of need. Forever grateful to all!

I recently had a stay at Unity Point St Luke’s in Sioux City. Every person I came in touch with was extremely professional, considerate, caring and listened to my concerns. I was on the Telemetry unit and was closely monitored. Dr Edwards explained my condition in detail so I could understand. Sabrina went above and beyond to assist me. All nurses were great. Bev was my first nurse as I came in at night. She was effective and helped me to relax.

I went to the ER at St. Luke’s do to an allergic reaction. It was so bad I couldn’t see and you eyes, mouth, and mouth are all swollen. I couldn’t breathe and they got me in and meditated fast! They really understood the severity of the situation and acted fast! They were kind and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. The nurse got my IV in first try! Love this place! Thank you guys so much for caring for me!

I love the staff here! They make you feel like a person, and that they absolutely care about you getting well. I had to be admitted after my ER trip, and the staff made the transition easy. They explained everything, made sure to answer any and all questions. I genuinely felt cared for while there. I left feeling a million times better and with all the information I needed to start recovery on my own. I love this hospital and the wonderful staff who cared for me. ♥️

They were quick and efficient. Every single staff member was so kind. Cannot say enough thanks to Dr. Wood, Nurse Claire, and the rest of the team for taking good care of our little one.

I was admitted through the ER on 6/12/24. The ER was excellent! Although, I was in tremendous pain, everyone was very compassionate and worked as quickly as possible. The staff on the 4th floor was just outstanding! Even housekeeping had a smile on their faces. I never felt rushed by the doctors or the nurses. They all had a listening ear. The food was excellent! As a nurse, I am well qualified to assess every department I came in contact with. If I could give Unity Point a rating of a ten, I would!

Absolutely a pleasant experience. Everyone was super nice. Our nurse Alyssa, in labor and delivery, was a saint and completely honest and open about everything and made us feel like we were the only people she was taking care of. Everyone in the aftercare was super nice and prompt. As well as everyone in the nicu was able to answer all of our questions and were very professional. Even though we were spending more time in the nicu rather than the aftercare, the nurses in the mother and baby area were fantastic as well. Dr. Kasuske was very nice and a terrific cheerleader during the labor process. Would choose all the nurses and doctors all over again.
